Metaltehnik AD has signed contract BG-RRP-3.008-0732 with the Ministry of Innovation and Growth for the implementation of the project “Support for the Transition to a Circular Economy” under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Project goals:
The overall goal of the project is the introduction of circular models at Metaltehnik AD for resource utilization and the implementation of climate-neutral production and consumption methods and technologies.
The specific goal is:

Introduction of circular models in the welding production process through the implementation of technologies that reduce the use of raw materials and minimize waste generation.
The objectives will be achieved through investment in high-tech assets:

Nine-axis robotic welding system with an automatic table for positioner change – 1 unit.

Nine-axis robotic welding system for large-sized parts with a linear axis – 1 unit.
As a result of the project implementation, the following will be achieved:

Implementation of technologies to reduce waste generation;

Increased productivity and quality of manufactured products;
-
Reduced production costs due to lower material consumption and reduced scrap.
This will lead to:

Achieving tangible results in the transition to a circular economy within the company;

Increased production capacity as a result of higher efficiency, improved productivity and quality, and reduced production costs.
The total project value is BGN 1,450,000, with a grant of BGN 725,000 provided by the European Union.
